Description

Lebaiskari is a monument of Georgian architecture of the Middle Ages, one of the examples of residential castle-houses common in Tushet-Khevsureti. It is located near the village of Lebaiskar, on the road to Shatili. Lebaiskari is a five-floor tower, the floors of which are connected to each other inside by movable wooden stairs. The lower floor (barn) is reserved for goods (animals). Above, in the middle of the wall, the tower has a small balcony-like on all four sides. The last floor is covered from the inside with a tied arch, from the outside - with a pyramidal stepped roof.
